and NVC did not ask for this?

I know I have said this before, but will say it again... K-1 applicants send nothing to the NVC.

K1 Interview, you need the "Kitchen Sink - eveything your have and everything your Fiancee has submitted to USCIS at the interview, plus any new evidence of meetings, photos etc." and more, better yet is your Fiancee coming to your interview. Just remember they the "ConOff" can ask any question and or any document at anytime, be preparred!

May be true for Singapore, but not for London. No photos, no new evidence, no petition copy, no NOA2 copy, no fiance needed.

I sent my fiance the certified copy of my divorce order it wasn't asked for but I would rather be safe and he have than then ask for it and then have the delay caused by having to go to the courthouse to get it and then mail it to him. Each embassy is different as is each case but if I were you I would get it just to prevent any possible delay.

I totally agree with Nich-Nick,

I was the petitioner, and I gave my wife both of my previous divorce decrees, "certified copies" this is a big deal in the Phils., maybe not so much in other countries.

Would not take a chance, you have come to far.

Oh yes we sent it to UCIS so they had it first, it's just whether i need a copy for for the interview. I guess your right, it doesn't hurt to get another copy just in case.

Thanks for your help

Not necessary for your interview. If it is a part of your original petition you are good.

Either you got lucky, or the ConOff wasn't doing his/her job! The question is did you have this information available just in case the ConOff did ask for any additional evidence at the interview?

Singapore has nothing to do with the issue, I have been throught this process on a K1 and CR1, don't be smart and not take all the documents with you to the interview, if the ConOff asks the for the document and you can't provide, I guess you got egg in the face and place in AP status and Delayed.

K1's don't sent documents to the NVC.

CR1/IR1's do sent documents to the NVC, as the NVC approves AOS before the husband of wife is issued there Visa.

I guess you are asking me the question??? Not sure. Anyway, I have read London K1 interview discussions for seven and a half years. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of approved K1s who were not required to show photo albums, trips, engagement rings, Skype, petition documents, US citizen's civil docs, etc. They ask a few easy questions that are conversational in tone, not like a test. I am not speaking of my single time at the consulate.

My mention of Singapore was because I thought you might have a long experience with that consulate and know the specifics of what is the norm there. I wasn't disputing what you described as something that might happen in Singapore. I have never read one interview review from there, so the kitchen sink may be required as you stated Each consulate has different procedures and I was answering the OP concerning London.

Agree totally, which was the point I was making, use the experience of the people on here who went through the London Embassy

I'm pretty sure you'd be hard pressed to find someone who was turned down at London!

Show the docs they ask for

Have a chat with CO, get approved
