my wife and i are waiting on the NVC to "complete" their stuff and give us an interview date...i know i have to pay for the medical bill..is there any other fees we also need to pay or is just just the medical bill and just whats needed for her to print any papers i send to her out?and whats the average time once NVC completes until the interview date?they received our stuff september 14.im going to assume with the 30 days it takes to review that lets say its october 14th that its completed..just curious on the time frame as i want to send my wife to another island to visit family and say goodbye to friends and family there before she comes to the states...shes in the Philippines.i figured depending on the time between completion and interview date she would have time and if its just the medical fee i have left then i can just send her the money for her little trip :)

After the medical fee, once the visa is approved and in hand, you can pay for the $165 immigration fee. See the link http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis/immigrant-fee-payment-tips-finding-your-number-and-dos-case-id.

Below is also my time line from when they received and complete my file.

oh nice so the last fee is something i can actually do when she is here (will most likely pay before she leaves the Philippines).looks like we are in the same neighborhood :) and from what i see from your timeline,we can even reschedule her interview for an earlier date if available.im sure as long as its open and at least 2 weeks after her medical.please correct me if im wrong on any of what i just stated.would like to make sure i understand especially rescheduling her interview date.

Yeah! :) My husband paid for it days before I left. Just make sure to reschedule her interview once USEM has the physical file. That was why we had to reschedule my interview a few times because the physical file hasn't been received yet. Really? Are you in MN?

Just a little note, we was able to reschedule my interview without worry because I already had my medical a month before my file was completed in NVC. :)

Lol. I should update that. I called USEM to check if they already have my file. The moment they said they do, we resched my interview to the closest date. But as I've said, that is because I am already done with my medical.
