K-1 visa ineligible per 221g

Ok so first off, this visa process has been an experience like no other. I feel as if it will never end at times. I recently had my interview at the U.S. Embassy in Ciudad Juarez. The interview seemed of went well i was only asked a couple questions and the officer seemed to take the response very positive. At the end of the interview I as given a 221g and he said was because my fiance did not submit birth certificate or w-2 form. The 221g reads as this.

You are ineligible to receive a visa under section 221g of the Immigration and Nationality Act because you application is incomplete.

The following documents are required:

Fiance Birth Certificate

Fiance W-2

Form I-134

CEAC says the visa is under Administrative Processing.

My question is should I be worried about this? Is this grounds to get denied? And how long after receiving the documents will it generally take?

Submit what was requested and you will be approved if all checks out. Time from submitting the missing documents to visa issuing varies.

The faster it's submitted, the faster you get the visa.

A denial and refusal are two different things. A denial is typically temporary, as in your case. A refusal is typically permanent. You are just in AP, but at least you can take action and get out of AP!

Thank you for the fast responses. After talking to my fiance about this thread, he tried to send the documents through the link that was provided in the 221g. The link isn't available yet. We will just wait a couple days and see if it's something on their end they have to update to allow.

I have an update.

A couple of days ago, I reviewed the visa webpage and it says i have a courier number and a shipment is on the way. Is this possibly the passport? I am worried because the CEAC website still says administrative processing and hasn't been updated yet. Furthermore, the status was last updated October 7, 2015 according to the website which doesn't make sense to me. I would think that if it was the visa the status would change to issued or at least ready. Finally, I haven't been notified on a decision. Sorry for bringing up possibly an old thread but im worried!! I feel as if they like to keep you worried and in suspense on purpose. Thank you for anyone's input in advance.

Only way to know is to call Juarez and ask.
