filing I-129F with children

my partner is filing petition for myself including my 3 children, do we need to hand in copies of their birth certificates and letters of consent from their fathers to remove them from the country? or are these things i take to interview?

also wen i was younger i changed my name, should we include copy of my birth certificate and change of name form in with petition?

03/29/2007 - sent petition I129F

04/02/2007 - recieved at TSC

04/06/2007 - NOA1 issued

04/12/2007 - check cashed

04/14/2007 - NOA1 letter recieved

04/14/2007 - touched

06/07/2007 - touched (change of address)

06/08/2007 - touched (change of address)

06/10/2007 - touched (change of address)

06/15/2007 - touched due to phonecalls to csc.

06/16/2007 - another touch due to phonecalls on 15th!!!

07/25/2007 - APPROVED!!!!!!

08/06/2007 - NVC recieved

08/11/2007 - letter received from NVC saying send to London within a week

08/13/2007 - London recieves petition and sends out Packet 3

08/16/2007 - recieved and sent back packet 3

09/06/2007 - medical!!

09/12/2007 - INTERVIEW

09/18/2007 - Additional papers collected by courier

09/26/2007 - Visas delivered by courier!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

hi there

i would send in photo copies of all the birth certifcates and get them notorized and yes to your name change birth cerficate too ...the originals you take with you at your interview to show the interview so they can compare the birth certificates with the photo copies...

you need either a letter from the father of the children but im not sure if you would need anything from the courts to say you have custody...maybe someone else might know that one...

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

NO... birth certificates of the children and consent from father are presented at the interview and not required for the initial petition. The only requirement for the children on the I-129F is that they are listed... Notarization by a general notary public on the birth certificates is not required because it does not validate or certify them in any way

YES .. you need to show the path from your birth certificate to your current legal name.

Besides the letter(s) from the father(s) you will possibly also need any proof of custody for minor children under 18. They should get passports too if possible/appropriate.

wot does 'notarised' mean? is itsigned by solicitor?

i have residence order over my 2 youngest children, but nothing over my eldest. his father isnt on the birth certificate will i still have to get some kind of proof of custody??
