ASC to close to interview?

When I received the letter allowing me to schedule an ASC appointment and a consular interview I did just that. I used the websites calendar interface to choose dates for both. As the appointments have been approaching I have been reading a lot of other peoples' experiences and suggestions.

*I scheduled the ASC appointment in Mexico city 2 days before the interview in Juarez. Planning to fit the medical exam in between. I have read in some places that while at the ASC appointment some of your forms will be stamped, confirming that you went to the appointment. In some other places I've read that there is a document package from the ASC that gets sent to Juarez. I've found only one post covering this topic specifically, an experience of applicants doing the ASC in Mexico city 3 days before the interview in Juarez and not having a problem.

What happens if information from the ASC does not get from DF to Juarez before the interview? From everything I've read it sounds like it can cause a delay. It seems like I've read a few posts of people having similar trivial document/scheduling issues and they were in many cases able to return to complete the interview in a day or two.

I guess I'm interested in feedback directly related to the ASC issue, and also any feedback related to "what if something is missing?".
