I hope am posting at the right place......

Is been a whole eight months since my last interview in Lagos and 221g white sheet was given to me after my interview and exactly 1 week later after my interview my case was retuned to USCIS with a recommendation is revoked...

I got this from uscis Thus! On April 8, 2015, the Department of State sent us your case for review. We are reviewing it, and will notify you by mail when we are done. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

From April till date is been 5 months now I ve not heard anything from USCIS and when we call them on phone, all we get is wait for 180 days, I need advice on what next to do and secondly, any one who has been through such pls your input will help a lot....

My wife and I are planning to get an Atty but not sure if that will make any diff. State Senator and comgresswoman are already involved on our case. Pls, your input will help us a lot too.

You are an IR/CR visa and your returned petition WILL be reviewed , however it will be over a year before that happens. The claim they are backlogged.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Hi my case was returned in May 11 2014, received a letter from congressman stating that my background check should be over in a week or two. The case will continue for the I130 for re adjudication. I was wondering if anyone else has receive anything like this. Praying that some changes happen to our cases. This is so crazy.

Thank you dear visajourney family just a Lil update on my case Yesterday my wife has handed over the NOIR letter to an attorney she hired with all the evidence we gathered mostly our Facebook chats and wallpost chats from sept 2012 that's the tym we met to now,her itinerary of her two visits to Ghana, our pics together and with my family here and friends, greetings cards and envelopes of stuffs i mail to her and notarized letters from her families and friends saying that they are aware that our marriage is genuine and a Lil sheets of money gram reciept..so now the attorney says they gonna write about ten pages letter in the respond of the noir addressing every single denial point with the evidence we provided to her and mail it off to the USCIS Cos the NOIR says that 1,I was able to answer all the routine questions concerning my wife correctly but it appears I memorize information, 2i stated that my wife have 3 children but her AOS tax returns she listed only two Dependants,3 I was unable to provide to the call logs or text with the petitioner prior to two months to our wedding ...so my question do u think with the help of the attorney we can overcome this heart wrenching process and how long do u think we can here from USCIS decision after receiving our package. Thank u for ur assistance cos we are all nervous

I think it's possible, but I haven't started with my noir, our lawyer said the same thing that when it arrives we will address the issues, and the other things is how far behind your office is the senator here in my town have said uscis has a backlog of 12 months ?, and I believe they will follow my husband around for while and watch him ? so it may even be longer for us
