...questions about our case

Hi everyone, my mom (IR1) and I (IR2) have separate petition (case number) filled by my father (US citizen). We completed our DS-260 and we are about to send documents to NVC. Do we just need to send a photocopy of civil document because the website travel.state.gov state that we must send just the photocopy of civil documents and bring the original one to Embassy? How about the finacial evidence for my mom's case, does my father need to send his original tax return and his W2's? Can my father use the I-864EZ instead the long I-864? And am still eligible for I-864w (i'm 17, turning 18 on March 15)? Thanks for the help...

As per the instructions, only photocopies of civil docs have to be sent. A photocopy and original of each civil doc must be brought at the interview. A photocopy of the tax return is acceptable, W-2 has to be sent as well. But if you sent a tax transcript, it has to be the original (not a photocopy). If your father filed 'married filling jointly', a W-2 has to be included as well.

I'm not sure if he can use I-864EZ, it is to be used only if an I-130 petition was filled out and there's only one immigrant to be sponsored. Someone more experienced here perhaps can give more info about that.

thanks for the reply. my father did filled out separate i-130 for me and my mom (bcuz he is a us citizen). I'm filling out i-864w because i'm still 17 and exempting for i-864 (i think). In this case, I think my father can fill out the I-864EZ because my mom is the only one to be sponsored. Any suggestion if it is possible?
