help with the appointment

Ok so my husband was approved for the k3 visa I went online to try to get an appointment for a whole week and couldn't get one.so after been impatient I schedule him for a k1 visa would that do any damage.

I doubt it will do any damage, but they likely won;t let him in the embassy because he won;t have the correct paperwork for a K1.

BTW, your husband has not been approved yet; the petition has been approved, and he can still be denied. Are you sure he is going for a K3 and not a CR-1?

They sent me the approval letter for the the i129f plus the i130 I paid the visa fee there was no more appointment for the k3 so I went ahead and choose a k1.

You want to email the embassy and let them know your situation because at the interview they will have a list of what people are applying for and what the appt is for. They did deny a lady with 3 kids who had an appt for k1 but she did the wrong appt. I was there last week at Haiti. Try emailing them at papcons@state.gov they will be able to clarify on what you should do but do not cancel your k1 appt just see if they can change the k1 to k3 . Goodluck
