this is correct. For NVC/INTERVIEW you do NOT need documents translated IF they are in spanish or English. The Only time you need to send the documents translated to english is in the USCIS stage. To be clear, for the interview if the documents are in english or in the country of interviews native language you do not need translation. It states it clearly on the NVC page.

Thanks. I thought so as Ive read it in the intructions also. Its just confusing when people say different things I wanted to confirm that someone actually sent spanish covil docs to the nvc and had no issues. And for interview.

I see you haven't gotten to the NVC stage yet im sure that getting wind of the no translation needed will make things easier for you. Also, as things are subject to change ALWAYS read the nvc page carefully and dont solely rely on what you read on this amazing site or what people like myself whom already been through the process might tell you....Good luck.

Thanks, yea I haven't. I just got my i130 noa1 in sept. Im patiently waiting . I go on the nvc page and us embassy oage religiously. But i think we can all agree that these agencies are far from consistent. Its good to see good ole real experiences and just take some into consideration.

It specifically says under the medical Examination, in the section below:

TRANSLATIONS: All documents that are neither in English nor Spanish must be translated into English by a competent translator.

• The Embassy is located in the sector of Arroyo Hondo, north of the Botanical Gardens between Av. República de Colombia and Carretera La Isabela. The address is Av. República de Colombia #57, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Consular Section entrance is on República de Colombia Avenue.
