Filing N-400, questions on Parts 2 & 3

Hello and thank you for your time.

Part 2 questions -

My wife changed her birth name in Thailand to the name that is currently on her passport. She took my last name when we got married and that is the name on her permanent resident card. I want to clarify that I am completing Part 2 on the N-400 correct.

1. Your current legal name - Her name on her Thailand passport

2. Your name exactly as it appears on your permanent resident card - Her first name with my last name as we changed it when we got married.

3. Other name(s) you have used since birth - Her birth name

We obtained English and Thai translations of the legal document pertaining to her name change from birth name to current legal name on her Thai passport that we included in the I-129F packet. I still have English/Thai copies of this document and was planning to add with the N-400 packet. Would this be correct?

Part 3 question -

To confirm - We say "Yes" to question - Would you like to legally change your name? We add the name on her permanent resident card - Her 1st name with my last name - since that is what she want to use.

Regarding the first, I believe you are correct (others can add as I am no expert)

From what I have been told, don't do the name change thing along with n400, it just gets a bit messy.

If she changed her name through marriage then her current legal name is her changed name.

To clarify then we say "NO" on Part 3 on the N-400 because my wife changed her name when we got married (which is also the name on her permenent resident card). Her current legal name is the name she has been using since we got married (Her 1st name with my last name) thus we don't need a name change because it has been changed since our marriage.
