DV 2016 - F4 category

I have my interview scheduled for 22 October for DV 2016. I have filled 260 form in May, but in August I have also received further instructions from NVC for my F4 category application (brothers and sisters). I didn't do anything with my F4 application, since I have already follow the lottery rules.

Now since I'll have my interview for dv, I'm starting to get scared or I'm a bit paranoiac, what if there is something I should do, or did wrong with these two applications. Can this be problem at the interview ?

No problem, your F4 petition will just fall away after your DV process is completed. (I had an F3 in process at the time I did my DV interview.)

Also I believe they don't do anything to the family petition until the DV process is completed - so if something goes wrong and you get refused a DV visa, your existing petition remains in place.

Hopefully everything will be fine. We have all documents ready, except medicals - they are scheduled on 14 October, we (all family) were in US in 2010 and we get back on time, so I don't see a reason to be refused. But you'll never know until you heard from them, and that is so stressful
