Hello

We finally received a confirmation letter from Montreal saying please visit

http://canada.usvisa-info.com, sign in and schedule an appointment.

When my beneficiary went to the site, created an account, paid the K1 fees and try scheduling an appointment for Montreal office, There are NO available dates til End of 2017.

I am guessing we are missing something here? Is anyone else having this issue as well?

Please help!!! I really hope I am able to get my fiance to move here by EOY 2015 and not EOY 2017

Thank you for the quick assistance

Hey,

I am stuck in the same position. I emailed the embassy and they said ....well I will copy paste

"Good afternoon,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The Consulate General in Montreal is committed to scheduling immigrant visa interview appointments as soon as possible after the applicant’s file is documentarily ready. The Consulate General works closely with the National Visa Center and CSC Visa Information Services, our appointment system contractor, to determine the number and category of immigrant visa cases that are ready for interview, and ensure there are adequate appointments available. The calendar is reviewed several times per month, and additional appointment slots may be added as available visa numbers change. If there are no appointments available, applicants are requested to re-try regularly, as it is likely additional appointment slots will be opened.

Applicants who need assistance in making an immigrant visa appointment can visit the Official U.S. Visa Information & Appointment Services website at https://usvisa-info.com/, or contact their office at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv/information/contact_us

Best regards,

OP11
Correspondence Unit | Immigrant Visa

U.S. Consulate General in Montreal"

Keep checking back ...

GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF USSS

if you can, try and have it close to your interview, as the medical is good for up to one year and if you file for you AOS before it expires you can usually use it during your AOS processing instead of having another medical performed, which is why people suggest getting it as close to your interview as you can. Also keep in mind though that most places require at least a week as a guidline to process your medical packet and then there is a wait to send it to you if they offer courier services, so two weeks before is probably the latest you should get it to be safe.

Congratulations on getting your date!
