Hello everyone,

I am trying to get back into the habit of posting regularly on this site. I just thought i would mention that the forms for AOS/EAD were sent off today. The postal service inform me that they will be there by noon tomorrow (march 1st). The AOS will take as long as it needs, that i accept rather happily. I do hope the EAD goes rather smoothly though, as i have an offer to enroll as a teacher, it just might be less of an open offer if i do not accept by mid june. So, here's hopin' that the EAD forms are processed in a timely manner and that i dont get an RFE. I tried to include everything that they could possibly want in the package, but knowing the USCIS, there will probably be a need for the Cats dental records or something equally as bizarre....

Anyways, i hope everyone is doing well and that whatever stage you are at it is all going smoothly.

Since you were the 23rd i imagine we are in a very similar boat. Lets hope that their workload is not so heavy right now and that we can be approved before june rolls around.....*crosses fingers*

I'm ABOUT to send off too, just waiting on this years tax return to be done (a couple of daysaway!) so fingers crossed to us both!

My AOS/EAD packet arrived in Chicago last Sunday, the 25th.

I didnt send in last year's tax return though, because neither my cosponsor nor I had done them yet. I'll probably get an RFE for the returns. I only sent 2006 W2s.

We sent off what tax info was available for my mother-in-law....She has an income of about 43k and well over 100k in property and such. I am hoping that the forms from last year and the employment letters will be enough. Although, we never really can tell with USCIS now can we? Good luck to us all.

I didn't send mine in either...I'm hoping we don't get an RFE ... didn't have them done on Monday when we sent it out and was going to delay it, but now I needed the return to pay some bills that came up oh...YESTERDAY. So I'm guessing we will get an RFE.

Yknow, and this is just the common sense in me talking, if you send in the short tax forms which show your earnings, and they are enough to sponsor, then i cant see why they would really want detailed returns.....I just can't see why they would needed so badly....

Ah, that's the thing though...making sense. We got an RFE for the I-864 and ordered my 2005 IRS tax transcripts. Seems to be what they wanted....so far.

Might be helpful if you could fill in a time line of sorts.
