Don't trust their timeframe, it does not mean your case will be processed when your PD beyond the point.

I have sent an email to Houston office to ask about why many cases are outside of the currently time frame, hope they will look into this for everyone from May and June.

It not fair for May and June Fillers that most cases are outside the timeframe while most March and April filers were processed within 5-6 months. May filers are about 7 months and half but still waiting. It's not fair at all. But we have to believe this because it is how the life going on.

Any update? Looks like USCIS is mailing interview letters for appointments at the end of January. That puts June filers at 8 months even if you get the letter this week!

I have not hear anything from them yet? Who told you they are mailing the interview notice for June files?

I didn't say they were mailing interview notice for June filers. I said they are mailing interview notices for end of January. Presumably they are for filers in May since there are 3 files on VJ that fall around June 1 that haven't got a notice.

That would put June filers at 8 months or more total wait time.... By the time they get to me (July) it will be 10 months!

Houston seems to be one of the longest wait in the nation. Only Denver seems longer!

All May still waiting so my wild guess for June should be around Mid Feb to March so this will be push Houston to 9 months to get interview notice. Since Us approved the same sex marriage and let All Family Basic Category can fill AOS early instead of wait till their PD is current will make Houston AOS more back log. So far is 9 months but future will be 12 months. Hope everything will be fine to the day we got interview. Some couple broken during this time wait long so be strong guys. The day will come.

Timeframe just was updated today! As of 30 Nov 2015 Houston is processing 22 May, should be 6 months and 1 week to be scheduled for an intetview. Right now is Jan 12th they should process applicant with PD in July. But now mine is June 1st but still on wait. What is happenning here?

Processing is not liner. This isn't too inconceivable since there would be short staff during the holidays.

Why is it only Houston impacted. Lots of same sex marriages? There was a 30% spike in I-485's being sent to the Houston Field office...

Houston is taking 9 months but based on latest timeframe, It shows as of Nov 30th they are processing case around May 22nd (this should be 6 month and 1 weeks). Can we trust their offical timeframe that provided by USCIS?

I hardly trust any timelines provides on the USCIS because they are prepared in a way to trigger as small amount of inquiries as possible. Yet, would my NOA date way have passed the USCIS formal timeframe, I would pull every string possible, including USCIS phone system, website, and Ombudsman inquiry and my representative, so they finally get tired of me and give me the interview.

For Denver it is January 22 as of November 30th, but VJ timeline shows that they began reviewing February and March. I am March filer and already submitted request for beyond of timeline case (or how do they call those requests?). I will call the USCIS and see what I can do to expedite the process. Hell, if somebody who filed after me already got the interview, why should I sit and do nothing but just wait?

But all does not help you at all, even you did Ombudsman and contact Congressman, they won't help your AOS case speed up. And one more thing is so important is your case is still at NBC as well. Once your case is at local office you will be got the interview notice. Looks like your case still is normal time frame, they are processing Jan and you are in March but I agree with you that do not trust their timeframe (it is incorrect one that they released to public). And your case is belong the officers who is handling your case, some is very quick and easy, others is picky and slow as well just belong to your luck bro.
