Hello,

My question is : is there a way for NVC representatives to know if a case can easily be reviewed or not?

I ask you that because I called today to know if my case is being reviewed. I have been told that they are probably a few days behind and that she would put the case under supervisor review. She added that sometimes supervisor review can take 42 days but said "I don't think it will take that long for you, call back next week".

So I was wondering if anyone knows if representatives have a way of knowing if a case is complicated or not, if it shows something on their screen when a case is about to be reviewed or not...

If not, it means she would have said that just so I do not worry... (and I think that's the case)

Has anyone been told the same thing?

Thanks for your help

I really think we talked to the same woman yesterday! We are waiting to see if we get a checklist or CC, so I called to get a status update. She also told me they're a little behind and that they're saying it's now 45-days to review. She also told me to call back next week to get an answer. She also more-or-less told me not to worry about my case and that they'll get in touch when they get in touch.

I think they don't have any way of seeing anything other then the basics about a case. These people are just the front line for a whole bunch of other people actually reviewing the documents. I imagine their info is up-to-date and the system is updated in real time...

They can't tell if your specific case will take long or not. Maybe the rep just went by what country you are from. France isn't a high fraud country

Thank you guys for your answers!

Yep, I think she tried to be nice... and as you said she probably checked if there was only one person immigrating or if I was from a high fraud country, etc.

I am just tired of waiting and I started interpreting what she said and had hope that she could know more...

Anyway, good luck for you too and let's hope we all have our case complete soon :)
