Pls help!!!!! (merged)

Usps has misplaced my EAD. My EAD was sent since 27th of August till now usps tracking says its on transit. usps finally told me they don't know what happened or even where d card is located since it's still shows on transit and has not been updated since 27th.I have called the local usps and usps customer service but no help came out for me. My uscis status still shows that d card has been sent since 25th. Will it be easy to get another EAD from uscis? Pls What should I do next?

Yes, call USCIS and tell them that USPS has told you that your card is lost in the mail and you never received it. I believe they will issue you a new one.

I'm not sure how long it takes to produce one. I think you should call USCIS and talk to them. They will let you know how long it will take to receive it.

It's not that hard to get a hold of USCIS when compared to NVC.

USPS will have to bear responsibility for the loss though if not you'll be charged a fee for the replacement. Just heads up. Give USCIS a call to proceed.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

3/5/2015: Welcome notice mailed and I-130 Approved.

3/10/2015: Welcome notice and I-130 approval notice received.

3/12/2015: Green card mailed.

3/14/2015: Green card delivered.

I called uscis and told them how usps misplaced my EAD and the officer I spoke with said I have to wait 2 more weeks if the card is not returned to uscis before they will ask me to fill for another one. I have waited one month already and for her to ask me to wait another 2weeks? And that will eventually be after my interview. What do I guys advice I do as I intend calling them back on Monday again.
