Hello,

My husband and I received an RFE for 3 items, and I have just learned that 1 of the documents we thought we needed wasn't correct and now I know what I should have sent. Problem is, we already sent it all in with 2 correct items, and lacking the third. Is there any way to send it in, wait for yet another RFE, or do we just get denied?

It is up to the IO's discretion to send another RFE or deny. You could make an infopass and ask if there is a way for the document to meet up

with your case but there usually isn't.

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

My nerves are so racked right now. When we got the RFE hardcopy, we even made an info pass to see if they could give us an explanation of what they were asking. The gentleman looked at our paperwork and said there was nothing wrong with it, and just to resubmit it all because maybe something had been misplaced. Now we have just seen on a forum here that what the RFE was actually asking for was our joint sponosor's W2 (he filed jointly with my sister in law, but only using his income as he alone exceeds poverty guidelines) with his work verification (we only sent his transcripts). I spoke to a supervisor after posting here, and he instructed me to resend the entore RFE reply again with the added W2 form, but I still have this gut wrenching feeling that we may get a denial before our new packet makes it there. :(

Hopefully you made a copy of the RFE letter. Include another copy of it with your RFE response again, and a statement explaining you forgot to submit something in your first mailing. There is the chance that it could it work, so take it.

Thankfully we did, we made a complete duplicate of the RFE package we we sent back including their letter with the barcode. Hopefully this works! Thanks again :)

Hello,

My husband and I received an RFE for 3 items, and I have just learned that 1 of the documents we thought we needed wasn't correct and now I know what I should have sent. Problem is, we already sent it all in with 2 correct items, and lacking the third. Is there any way to send it in, wait for yet another RFE, or do we just get denied?
