221(g) - I134 and making sure we have everything

Just want to make sure we have everything in order.

My fiance was given the 221g at his K1 interview in Montreal Canada yesterday, and told to find another cosponsor. Our first one made more than HHS poverty guide lines for the household but the CO used his own discretion and felt that my fiance may not have enough support. Saddly, my fiance has about 17000$ in savings, which would easily get us by for the 90 days he wouldn't be working... Either way, Everything about the interview other than that was spot on and fine.

I have two questions! In bold and numbered!

So the only thing the 221g asks for a new cosponsor, 1-134 with financial documentation/support showing that the joint sponsor meets HHS povery guidelines.

It says where to send it in and how.

1. )The only thing it doesn't mention is, does he send his passport with these documents? The only mention of a passport is that he can collect it at the drop off location once a decision is made after the documents requested had been sent in and processed with either the visa stamp or the denial, but clearly they don't have it since they gave it back to him.

While it seems obvious he would send his passport in, the obvious isn't as obvious anymore for us lol. We just want to make sure 100%..

Other than that, if those would like to just chime in about the new cosponsor and proof below just to make sure I have everything together. Our first cospsonor made 24000 last year (I thought it was 22000 but it was 24000) and she would have a household of two with my fiance. I'm unemployed at the moment which is why he used his own descretion, either way the limit for a household of 2 is 19,912$ clearly my mom made over and we provided all proof available but...

Now we're looking at my grandparents to cosponsor, they're just the two of them, making it a household of three including my fiance, the limit for that is 25112$. My grandfather makes about 60000$ a year, through job, pension, social security retirement.

For evidence we will have:

Filled out I-134 (obviously!)
Tax return
W2
Employer letter stating when he was hired (like 10 years ago), if his position is permanent, how much he makes annual, how much he's slated to make this year.
Paystubs
Awardance letter showing social security retirement (if I need something else for this let me know!)
Proof of pension payments (not sure how this is done but I'm sure my grandparents do)
If they list savings on the I-134, then a copy of their bankstatements showing the savings

2.) Does the above look good? I just want to make sure that since they have more than just a job (SS retirement and pension) that I have all my ducks in a row for proof for them.

If you know anything about both topics please lemme know! I want to make 100% sure about the passport sending, and then just reassurance on the second question making sure I have it all in order.

Thank you very much for your time. =]
