Hi Guys,

I'm invisibly regular on VJ, you guys are doing an amazing job on this site. I'm a April filer. My application has been the strangest (If that is even a word LOL) ever. Immigration received my ROC on 23rd of April, i did my biometric on the 1st of June. I received two extension letter with two different receipt number. One of the extension letter has my name and address wrong while the other one has my information correct. I called USCIS to confirm, they told me it's a mistake that i should ignore the one with my information wrong. I traveled sometime around June with the correct extension letter with no problem. I didn't hear back from USCIS till August, they asked for RFE. They specifically asked me for my W2 and my car insurance with both my wife and I's name on it, which we did.

Now, I checked USCIS and my status says

Name Was Updated

On September 22, 2015, we updated your name for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WAC**********. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

What should I be expecting ?

Do they have my name wrong all this while ?

Are they going to reschedule me for another Biometric ?

Should I be happy or what ?

I'm just confuse and frustrated right here :(

It's just a general statement and nothing to worry about. They are just informing you that they have updated your case. Expect to hear something soon.

It's normal after a RFE.
