Timeline

Hello. Can we submit AOS for me(K1) without my K2. Because of financial issue. Is it possible to do mine first and k2 to be follow?

09.06.14- Sent I-129f

09.11.14- NOA1 email

09.15.14- Alien Reg. changed

11.18.14- NOA2

02.02.15- Interview at US Embassy 

02.24.15 - POE San Francisco CA.

You can, but it's not recommended. Depending on the age of the child it may cost more when filing them separately (refer to page 3 on the link below). I suggest borrowing/getting a loan for the funds to file the AOS together. It's not ideal to have any family member in the so called "limbo" status especially a child.

Other things to consider is having to redo the medical if you wait to long.
