AOS and Spouse Name Change?

Hi VJ!

I came to the U.S. from Canada on a fiance visa and got married shortly after arrived.My coming to the U.S. was rushed due to a misunderstanding with my medical. Opposed to having 6 months to enter the united states I only had a month! We got married at the local city clerk and decided to have something bigger next year due to the whole rush of things. My question is on our marriage certificate my wife doesn't have my last name. When applying for our marriage license we hadn't really thought about it so we left it as is for the time being. Now that we have gotten married we have both decided that I'm okay with her keeping her own last name as she prefers it for her personal business endeavors and she would rather not go through all of the paperwork to change it. Does USCIS look at that in a skeptical way? Do they really even care? Can she change it and change it back once everything is more established? Answers would be great thanks because I'm confused and I don't need any extra scrutiny or speculation from anybody on how we choose to do things in our relationship. She wont, marriage certificates will always have maiden names, is everything else that will have her married name if you choose to do so.

USCIS does not care if a woman keeps her maiden name or adopts her husband's name as her married name after the marriage.

No one is required to changed their name through marriage, and that applies to USCIS/immigration as well.
