husbands visa denied

Hello my husband came to UK and they denied his visa because he told them he's visiting his brother instead of saying his wife because he was visiting his brothers address and I live in a different state.

My question is that will they ask me about it at the interview?

Do they have access to information from the UK to their system?

Possibly, why did he lie?

Your Husband is a US Citizen?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

He didn't lied he just didn't say anything to them first because he was actually visiting his brother first and then me..so can someone answer my question and also is he banned from UK?

Well he would need a visa to enter the UK and he is I would expect an unlikely recipient. Should not have any impact on US Immigration.

**Moderator hat off**

If your husband has any trouble with UK immigration authorities, that is not likely to have any bearing on your US visa application.

US citizens generally do not need visas to enter the UK for a basic visit. They use the VWP. Therefore unless your husband had an actual visa to enter the UK, he was merely denied entry clearance to the UK. Was he removed and did they give him documents to sign?

Entry to the UK is based upon each attempts own merits for whatever that is worth. Husband can try again, but I would wait a significant period of time before trying it. Say a couple of years.

If husband wants to stay and live in the UK, then yes he will need a UK visa. There's no getting past that. Regardless it will not impact your ability to immigrate to the US.

If he didn't have a visa to the UK and didn't need a visa to enter the UK, AND he didn't apply for a visa to the UK, THEN they did not deny his visa. There is no visa in this scenario. The title of your thread is misleading. He was denied entry to visit the UK.

Tell him file IR1/CR1 petition for you to immigrate to U.S.

Nothing I say should in any way be construed as a breach of VJ TOS. http://www.visajourn...m/content/terms

All my comments regarding any visa's or routes to obtaining one are subject to their individual terms and conditions, the full extent of which can not possibly be fully detailed in any reply on a forum such as this.

In particular but not limited to condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.

If you read it that way please re read what I wrote, not what you think I wrote. Or what somebody could misconstrue that I wrote.

Okay sorry I thought it was visa Yeh you are right his entry was denied. Thanks

And the interview is all about if you are eligible to get a visa to the U.S. They aren't evaluating what happened between him and the UK entry folks.
