Timeline - Accuracy

Is anybody responsible for checking the accuracy of entries in the timeline?

See attached screenshot.

How can someone have an 'NOA2' date of Oct 26, 2015? a) it is only September; b) he/she updated the timeline on Sept 15; c) he/she had interview date before NOA2 was even issued....

And there are 2 more examples highlighted.

I had also seen cases, where dates were written in 'wrong' format, for example:

"22/112014"
"20150518"
"2015-2-17"

This makes the data incorrect within the system.

Ideally, the system should:

a) not accept Incorrect formats

b) check date entered versus today's date and not accept any future dates

c) check the progression of the timeline and not accept dates that seem "out out place"

We have considerable back end filtering (the opposite argument is that folks with edge conditions can not enter their dates if we front end filter only). We have some front end filtering now -- are there any "impossible" situations we should filter against up front?
