Petitioner attending interview

This is specific to the London embassy.

I saw from the Embassy information page, that the petitioner is allowed to attend the interview. This is for a K1 visa.

I have notified the embassy, but I haven't received any acknowledgement or response.

Is that normal, for the embassy not to respond? Will she be allowed to attend the interview with me, without receiving a response?

My interview is next week, and I sent the request about 3 weeks ago.

Did you request on this form, giving the name? http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html use the reason for spouse to attend, even though it is fiance.

They usually answer. Try again.

The name may be on the list when you get there, even though you didn't get a reply. And one I know begged their fiance's way in by asking once inside saying they requested on [date] and thought it was set up. The inside people called the guards and said to let the guy in.

I did make the request on that form, stating her name, and case number, and the visa type.

Hi,

I had my interview at the US embassy in London on the 17th September and my Fiancé was here. He came with me and he explained who he was outside the embassy and asked if he could come in with me. They let him in with no problems he just had to show his passport and then waited in the waiting room.
