Hey guys, Tahoma, or anyone else. So my Fiance had her medical yesterday, everything went fine except for I guess she has some scars on her wrist (that I didn't know about) from when she was depressed after breaking up with her ex several years ago. We had her scheduled to interview on December 7th, and now the SLEC told her she has to come back on December 28 for a Psych eval!!!! ughhh!!!! How can they make her come back over a month away???? Does this sound normal? I've read of other people in this situation and their fiance usually has to come back a couple days later, but a whole month?????

It was smooth sailing up to this point, I knew eventually our luck would run out :/

I have not heard of a psych evaluation being scheduled so far out. Usually, it's within a week or so. St. Luke's must be busy, and the holidays are coming too.

I believe your fiancée could still go to her interview. Since she would not have her medical results at that time, she would receive a 221g which would instruct her to send in the medical results when she received them.

After she sent in her medical results, it likely would be a few weeks before she received her visa packet.

This might be faster than rescheduling her interview.

Hey buddy, thanks again for the advice. She finished all her medical stuff yesterday, her interview is in 2 weeks and all done!

Best wishes for a smooth interview and a speedy visa delivery.

Hey Tahoma, She had her interview on january 12th. The visa status online changed several times and is still on "ready" status. It's almost a month now. Any idea what might be taking so long? They told her in the interview she was approved, she just had to go to the nso office to get an updated cenomar sent to the embassy.
