Western Union

Ok sorry I see the country as Vietnam now, and yes they deliver money to there. I used to use Western Union Online to send money to my wife every month. What pissed me off and caused me not to use it anymore was that they would routinely hold transfers for 1-2 days for "processing" or "fraud verification" purposes even after I was using them consistently for over a year with the same card. Also I did not want to have to go down to the store just to send the money either.

My wife is from the Philippines and she heard about Xoom.com in order to send money, so we tried it one time. We are now using it every month at least once. The fee is $5.99 and they have only held up the transfer once (the first time), also they have an app for it as well.

We have stopped using WU altogether.,.,.bad experiences, lied to, etc.

My wife uses something like Reminity.,.,,.not spelled correctly as she is asleep, and all done by computer, and about 1-3 dollars per send.

I will get the correct name and post it, for all you users, wish I was better informed tonight, but wife asleep, I am the "night owl"...,..

She swears by it, cheaper faster and easier! I will follow up, tomorrow night.

You can use any bank. It willask for routing number and stuff. But yeah, if you're going to VN there is no reason to get USD...

No, the opposite is true. If the money is going to VN, there is every reason to get USD. Not even gold. Benjamins all the way.

i use chase bank and it's not $5, it's $25 plus % of the transfer. same as bank of America and suntrust.

Not when you use BofA Bill Pay option. I do not have any experience with Chase or Suntrust so I can't really comment, but I used to send my wife $$$ every month using my BofA account. Initiated the money transfer on WU, went online to my BofA account and paid via Bill Pay, and the money was available to pick up usually around 3AM the night the bill payment was posted. Easy peasy.
