Are you freakin' kidding me NVC?!?!

So I got the 3 N/As for my stepson's case today, but my wife's is still not complete. So I call the NVC, which I surprisingly got through to within 10 minutes, only to find out that my wife's case has been reviewed and is complete except for...wait for it...........a police report from Great Britain...a country she has never lived in and never visited!!! The operator told me that she can't tell me why, but their system is waiting for that. So now they want my wife to mail them a letter stating that she never lived in or visited Great Britain for more than six months. She also said it could take 30 DAYS TO REVIEW THAT LETTER and get a case complete!

I am so fuming mad right now!

Oh nvc sorry your going through this went through the same . They would not give me my case number because they said the last name was wrong in the computer but wait they put it in the computer . I finally got it by calling and talking to different people but they stressed me out for nothin by saying it could take up to 30 days to update the system and didn't no if my case was forwarded to embassy or stayed . Unbelievable

Sorry.... We went through some stupidity of the NVC also...wife's father was approved but her mom wasn't .... I called and was told to wait for the documents to be reviewed... After another 30 days I was told that they lost the documents and needed 2 weeks to find them and another 40 days to review them ?. I asked for a supervisor and called and when I didn't get one or was not available I hung up and called again and again until they found one.... The supervisor fixed the problem in 5 days.... I suggest the same with you.... Get a supervisor involved... Do not take NO for a answer.... Best of Luck
