hello visa journey

i wanted to ask or another way to take your opinion for anyone had the same experience with k1 visa interview
what if the NVC said that i should receive my interview time within 4 to 6 weeks

my questions

is there a specific waiting time at NVC system for each country that they give the info according to?

what if i exceeded the time that the NVC told me about, is there any action i can take to speed this?

thanks for your time so much

All depends when nvc forwards the case once the case is in he system most likely in 2-3 days it's being sent to the embassy . I didn't email embassy right away just to give them time my petition was sent out on August 24 and I received my interview date September 15 for a October 14 interview

unfortunately it does not work the same way in Egypt, in cairo here first they send me packet 3 which is the list of the papers i need to prepare to send them back, and after i send them that the waiting time starts with the packet 4 which is the interview date, which is i know as the timelines i see here it takes from 2 to 4 months to have an interview date

why i asked the questions that i have because someone told me when she called NVC to ask them about the waiting time for the interview in Egypt they told her 4 to 6 weeks which is not happening

so i wanted to know if that was because of the latest update with the embassy or what should i do if i have not receive my interview as they mentioned within 4 to 6 weeks, if there is anything or step i can do to expedite this

Oh that sucks casablanca much easier they email you packet 3 and 4 together and you bring everything with you day of interview

believe me i know how much easier your embassy is, it is soooooo hard here, and so unfair for us, i have been waiting for my approval 6 months, until i had it 26th of august and until now it is at NVC an will be waiting for packet 3 then 4, i wont have my interview until December or maybe January :(

i am asking because someone called and asked NVC they tol her within 4 to 6 weeks i should have the interview but i know it is more than that, so i was asking if there is anything i can do if its exceeded the timee that nvc told us about

oh and forgot to till you something else, and it takes 1 to 2 months if its not more to issue the visa

see how awesome or embassy!!!
