I am wondering if you guys can help ease my mind! I have been checking my case status online and it has been stuck on "ready to schedule for an interview" since August 7th! We haven't moved and we haven't had any trouble getting any of our other mail (work authorization came earlier this month!) but I'm worried that something has gone wrong! Does anybody know how long between "ready to be scheduled" and "scheduled" usually is? We live in Michigan and he had his biometrics at the Detroit USCIS office so I assume that is where our interview will go through as well?

I'm trying not to worry.....

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of August 7, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MS____________, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Scheduling depends on the caseload at your local office; some people wait months for an interview.

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
