CEAC... Visa Issued!

That was fast... now all I need to know is how soon after this is on CEAC do we get the Visa in hand. I was hoping for him to have it before I leave on Friday the 25th. Also do they notify us via email with the tracking number for DHL? we need to call them to ask them to deliver to the hotel but they can not tell us anything without a tracking number

I messaged you.. but DHL will have it for pickup by Wednesday in Kingston. But if it is going anywhere else in Jamaica it will take an extra day. He should definitely have it by Friday. Go back to the website you scheduled your interview at and check under status for the tracking number, you should get an email the same time you get a tracking number.

YAY!! I'm so happy for you!!! What a struggle you have had! yes, you should get an email from the site you registered your apt on, and it will tell you the DHL tracking info It took exactly one week from interview to get ours. (3 days from when CEAC said "Issued" - arrived in MoBay)

It depends on where u said for pick up. If it is in Mobay u should have it by Thursday. Start calling DHL on Wed. Check ur visa acct to see if tracking number posted.

Visa ready for pick up in MoBay..going to get it on the way to the airport! !! So happy grateful god is good! !

Picked up Visas today!! he and his son will join me in 3 weeks. I am home safe.. What a day.. Luggage never made it, missed my second flight.. wow so glad to be home. But I am still very happy nothing will spoil this joy!

Think ahead to the next steps.

For AOS, ask your officiant if you can hand-carry the signed marriage license to the county clerk yourselves. In many places (check on this where you are), they can create marriage certificates while you wait. This knocks days or weeks off of being able to file for AOS. Order multiple copies -- we got 7 and ended up using 5. Be absolutely sure to include the stand-alone AP & EAD packages in the envelope with the AOS.

For ROC, start right after your marriage: Take important and trivial items (as they come in) that indicate the merging of your financial and personal lives, and throw them into a box. Come ROC time, you'll have an ample amount of evidence to choose from.

Your choice of which threads. Go into a thread, find any post (the opening post is OK), look for the "report" button under it, click it, write something like "we can close this thread of mine now," and send the report. The next moderator to see it will handle it for you.
