I read on this site that the vaccinations are not necessary before travel to the US but are required before adjustment of status. Is this true? If you need a number of vaccinations as a result of the medical exam, do you have to have them done by the staff at the medical examination? Can you have them done later? What's the actual deal with regard to vaccines and vaccination?

You are required to do the medical exams.

There's a flexibility on the vaccination especially if you are unable to finish the vaccinations but have started.

So if you are implying that, could you suspend the vaccination, then no, you can't.

There are strict requirements for certain vaccinations when you are coming from certain countries.
