AoS husband, daughters are in mexico

I am USC and my husband is an overstayer on work visa.

we are getting ready to do AoS. Do we put his daughters with his application even if the daughters are in Mexico and He's here in US??

His daughters ( assuming they are under 18 ) need their own petition to come. You do list them on his but they will gain no direct immigration benefit from that petition

Yes, they are 13 and 8. SO, can I petition them the same time as I petition my husband? How does that work.

Is there any qualifications or extra proof that they are my step children or that is automatically my step daughters when we were married?

If we want them to visit US, for Christmas or summer, is there a different way to do this or is it still going to be a tourist visa?

You can petition just your spouse, or any combination of him and children as you want. They each need their own petition. Of course the children won't be able to AOS they will have to wait for the petition to be approved and interview in Mexico. They can still visit on a tourist visa while the petition is pending provided they have one or can obtain one.

You always list all children on the petition even if they do not want to come.
