Nervous AOS package question

I have my whole AOS package prepared and ready to mail. My question is on the form I485 I left out all the pages pertaining to sponsor questions and only sent the pages pertaining to us. Is that ok??? or are they gonna wanna see N/A on all things that dont pertain to me???? Thanks alot...

You need to include ALL the pages of the I-485. Exactly what pages did you not include?

well i used visa journey example forms, and filled out as they had. im the petitioner i make enough money, and didnt need any sponsor. thanks

The I-485 form doesn't have any sponsor sections. Do you mean the I-864?

thought it was 485 the example filled out forms even exclude pages, i guess im not sending it now! darn, thought i was all ready

well without opening the package back up....it was the forms that asked how much i make and where we live. must have been the 864, so can i omit pages on that form?

nope, you need to include every page. if there are questions that don't apply, simply put 'N/A' or 'none'. even in the i-864, as the petitioner, you are the sponsor so you'd fill our the sponsor sections with your information.

i did exactly like the example forms, but several pages dont apply to me, and i even thought in the example forms here, they omited them.....thanks

Submit all pages, they don't know whether anything applies or not, if they see missing pages they might not accept it for being incomplete

Once you get your NOA1, resubmit the I-864 along with a cover letter and copy of NOA1 to the address on the NOA1.

I was missing a bunch of items, submitted them preemptively and never got a RFE.

OP hasn't submitted their package yet. It's best tor him to open up the envelope now and correct the errors.

ok so now not only am i called "petitioner" but on the i864 im now "sponsor" i thought sponsor on the i864 was if i didnt make enough and anywhere it said sponsor was about the person whos income also would be needed. this sucks

The petitioner is always the sponsor. If you don't meet the poverty guidelines then you would need a joint sponsor.
