Hi everyone!

My mom will be attending the PDOS seminar sometime on late october or early november (She has to leave for US by Dec 31,2015). My question is, Is it possible for her to take the seminar in the morning and fly to the US later that night, or does she have to go back the next day just to get her sticker?

I appreciate all the responses. Thank you!

Technically yes it's fine. What if during the seminar they ask for some document she doesn't have with her? She would have to wait until the next day to bring it back and would miss her flight. If you are willing to lose the money on the flight and re-booking then do as you wish, i would not book until I had everything with sticker included though.

They have a nice little caveat on their website where it says they can ask for other documents, they literally interpret that as anything they so choose. My fiance had to give them a copy of my passport bio page, birth certificate, divorce decree, and a second photo id (of mine). This was all after she had her visa so obviously she had already been vetted as good to leave the country......I have no idea why they wanted those but she wasn't leaving the country without giving them a copy of those.

Hi Shauneg and Tahoma,

Thank you for your responses. My gut feeling also tells me to give it a little bit more space in between,so the final decision is she will have at least 2 weeks after the seminar to fly for the states. We were hoping it would save us some money to go on with our initial plan, but the risk isn't just worth it. Besides, we can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Thanks again. Take care.
