Hi everyone, I just have a question if someone can answer it would be so appreciated, I entered the United States in April 29th on K1 visa, and got married on July 2nd, but due to a lack of money we haven't started the adjustment of status yet! My question is.. Is it going to be a problem when we're ready to send the paperwork maybe by the next month?

Just be aware that you are out of status and, technically, deportable from the day your I-94 expires until the day your I-485 is accepted for processing by USCIS. Out of status K-1s can and have been detained by ICE.

You should file as soon as you are able in order to properly protect yourself.
