Change of Address - 485/765

Hello

I will be applying for 485/765 on October 1st. Can I change my address in December?

If so, what steps should I follow?

I am applying by myself and not going with any attorney. So I want to be clear with USCIS on address change.

In general I file AR-11 but now as 485 will be pending, I want to know what else should be done.

Please suggest.

thank you so much. is it fine to change address when petition is in progress?

i thought its not easy to stay in 1 address as 485 processing could take lot of time and when working as consultants, we may need to change places within months.

I never changed it, but I have done other changes, like my name because there was a type in both my applications (i 485 and i 765), both changes were no problem and i got a notice within 2 weeks. So I don't see why it should be a problem.

Are you moving within the state or are you moving to a different state? The only reason why it could be complicated in my eyes would be if you change states and then a different local field office would be responsible for your I 485. But like I said I have no experience with this, maybe others can help you better.

i know only ar-11 but when case is pending we may need to file in any other websites?
