Hello everyone, so my wife went for her interview in Accra Ghana on the 8th of July, 2015, and here is what happend CO asked her; 1. Where does your husband live in the US. My wife answered correctly, she then asked a question about three of our pictures, which she answered all. CO asked; has your husband been married before? My wife answered yes, when did he get divorced? My wife told her and then the CO asks a rhetorical question like how could he get divorced and married so soon. I got devorced on the 14th of April, 2014 and married my wife on 05 May, 2015. CO again asked when and where did you meet your husband? My wife told him we knew each other from high school before he traveled in 2011 but we lost contact and found ourselves again on Facebook in 2013 and then CO goes did you know he was married by then? My wife answered yes but there were separated. CO asked again don't you think he's going to devorce you too when you get to the states and my wife said no. She collected all her evidence documents which were money transfer receipts, our WhatsApp conversation, Facebook messages, my page two in the military it shows that someone is your wife or beneficiary, all my plane tickets that shows that I went to Ghana twice last year, our wedding album with me in my Dress uniform which made the CO ask if I am in the military and my wife said yes. The CO then gave her a 221g which says; Reviewing documents I will call you. My wife asked her what should I tell my husband? She goes just tell him we will call you. My wife left the embassy got home and was called back within 30 minutes by the Embassy asking if she could come back she said yes and went back. Upon getting to the embassy, she was interviewed again by another person. 2nd CO asks where have you lived before in Ghana? My wife answered. She asks again what's your profession? She answered. What's the direction to your husband's house? She answered. What's the direction to your house? She answered. 2nd CO goes you can now go you will hear from us.It's been over two months now we haven't heard from them so I contacted my congressman and the agent just told me today that according to the checks he made, the case is going through Administrative Processing and they can't tell how long it's going to take. My question is what should I do now? Isn't the case supposed to be reviewed by NVC? I need help someone help me because I'm loosing my mind. Like I said earlier I'm a service member and my job is already stressful so coupled with my wife's visa issue makes me feel like I'm going crazy now. Someone tell me what to do before something bad happens to me. Is this what you get for putting your life on the line to serve your country? Is it even worth it dying for this country anymore? Please remember my wife and I your prayers. God bless AMERICA.

On what basis did you move to the US?

You are dealing with a very high fraud consulate.

Correct me if I am wrong

You come in on DV with wife 2

Divorce shortly afterwards

Marry wife 2 and petion her

My guess is the only reason you are still in the game is because of being in the Military.

The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other ####### die for his.

Welcome to VJ btw, sorry to see that VJ does not like quotations from Patton.

It's a fact that I'm dealing with a high fraud embassy but your comment seems like you are already judging me. Your quotation and everything suggest so. You don't know the circumstance that led to my devorce with my wife. She agreed to me joining the military but started nagging and complaining whenever I have to deploy or travel and be away from her. She finally told me if that's how things are going then she can't continue with me anymore. So now you see my marriage couldn't sustain because of that same job. If you have an advice give it but don't be quoting and judging if you don't know what really happened.

The only judgment I made was that being in the Military is helping you.

I was trying to focus on the likely issues, I leave others to deal with the emotional aspects, they will no doubt be along.

Administrative Processing... No one knows how long it would take as each case is unique.

The simple truth is that the rate at which you divorced and got married asap put some suspicion of immigration fraud in your case...

Don't get me wrong please. I'm not saying your marriage is not genuine.

Now what the embassy is doing right now is verifying your case and credentials involved to see if anything fraudulent is involved... You being in the military is a good reason the embassy trust you to an extent.

As soon as they are done with whatever verification they are doing... They'll call your wife to come pick up her visa.

Mind you...Ghana is also likely a high visa fraud country...

Regardless as long as your marriage is genuine and all credentials you submitted are genuine... You have no reason to fear...

By the way, we're you the one that won the visa lottery or your previous wife...

If it was your previous wife that won.... Then it puts you in a very hot spot my brother

Good point, did not think of that.

I'm the one who won the lottery. I had to get married after the devorce because of job. I wasn't sure when I was going to get the chance to go back again and marry because I had a pending deployment in the same year. But thank you all for the contribution guys.

Isn't the case supposed to be reviewed by NVC?

NVC is only an intake facility that does initial checks for completeness, they don't approve or deny anything.

Mr LUCKY BOY,

First and foremost, I'm sorry for psychological trauma you are going through at the moment. I can imagine it.

Secondly, could you please clarify or reconcile these dates?:

"I got divorced on the 14th of April, 2014 and married my wife on 05 May, 2015"

If you married your current wife on May 5,2015, how did she go for immigrant interview visa on the 8th of July, 2015(two months from marriage)? Did your I-130 not go through USCIS and NVC?

Hello Lucky Boy,

I am sorry that you are dealing with a tough situation here. It is easy to misinterpret someones answers when you yourself are going through such a tough and stressful time. No one here especially the Vets on here JUDGE you. It is most of them know the types of Consulars you have to deal with in your country and answers based on what the CO are more than likely thinking and the reason they are denying your petition. Trust and believe I have just went through a difficult situation that was just resolved and approved yesterday after a difficult and expensive FIGHT. So I am asking that you take what you can from the advice and not get upset with the group here. Ghana is a high fraud country. my suggestion is to seek out others from your country and ask them just how difficult it can be. I have read it and have found it rare that anyone passing through that country is immediately approved without scrutiny. Through no fault of your own... unfortunately the bad actors and immigration fraud do-ers are the reason you and your wife now find yourself at the bad end of Administrative Processing. Continue reaching out to your Congressman for help and send a few emails to the embassy asking how you can support your petition for your wife. I wish you all the best and will pray for you. Don't give up... save your energy for the battle ahead.
