How early am I allowed to schedule the interview?

My case is currently at NVC. I know NVC sends it out to the embassy in a week or so.

My fiancé has collected all the required documents and I've sent him everything needed for affidavit of support. He's getting his medical done next week. We have so much proof of relationship,30+ pictures, flight tickets, postcards I've sent him, travel receipt that we went to Istanbul together, Skype calls, Facebook conversations. I think that's sufficient evidence that we're together!

My question is, do we HAVE to wait for the packet 3 email from the embassy?

I've read some topics on here before that you can schedule an interview before the embassy sends packet 3.

So, is it possible that if we have all the required documents, that my fiancé can complete the DS 160 in advance, pay the interview fee and schedule his interview?

I have my case number and invoice number from NVC.

They can ask questions about your relationship with your spouse. It depends on what the interviewer wants to ask. That shouldn't be a problem if your marriage is legitimate. :)

Which process? Do you mean the whole process from the I-130 to the interview without a lawyer?

Or do you mean the actual interview by myself?

I'm doing it without the lawyer. It's cheaper that way. I like to know everything I'm doing. Each situation/person is different but for me, I'd rather do most of the stuff on my own. I know where I'm at in the process and I don't want to have to deal with an attorney who isn't on the same page as me. Also, we aren't at the interview process yet but I'm planning on attending it with my husband. We have to do an extra step after the interview and I still will not be getting an attorney. I just read the USCIS form instructions and use sites like this to find information. I can do all of that for free! :) I hope that answered your question.
