what does being touched mean and how do i check that im touched

ok im very confused can someone link me to the site which tells you how you find out if your case has been touched . Where cani find the reciept number .. i put some MSC number in and it tells me i have to have more digits .. I dont understand

i have the following

i-797c , notice of action two of them

which is i-765 EAD and i-485

ive been for my biometrics and they stamped it and i also had my tenprints done.

So how do i find out about my case ?

Being touched is when the date changes on your case but nothing else. It tedlls you that somebody has done something.

Input the MSC no. including "MSC", excluding "-". Note: MSC stands for Missouri Service Center, where your cases are processed initially.

"Touch" means when the date gets updated, but the actual "status" of the case doesn't change. ie. it has been worked on prior to or during that day. It is usually a very good sign to get touched and you should expect some significant progress. However, my AOS case has not been touched since late Nov, yet received my AOS interview notice in early Feb. I suggest not to take too much notice of the USCIS online case status facility - our K-1 petition is still getting processed according to it!!!

The 10 fingerprints biometrics is AOS. EAD biometrics requires just 1 index finger print. Do you know if EAD biometrics was done at same time you had your AOS biometrics??? Doubt it at Brooklyn ASC. You may have to return for EAD biometrics.
