Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.

Hi guys,

i'd rather post questions here since we belong in one group..i know many can help me here in my concerns..i am also from manila and my fiance is from florida..well, we were informed last feb 13 that the petition is already approved, till then he has not received the mail yet...but just today, CRIS sent us a note with this words....

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.

On February 27, 2007, we mailed the document we manufactured based on our earlier approval of this case, and mailed it to the address on we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

Anybody who has idea on this? all the while, we were hoping that our papers are on its way to manila US embassy already...

You said you were informed you were approved February 13? How so? Checking online status?

My guess is you got a strangely worded notice that they are mailing out your NOA2, which would be your "document other than card" but that is just a guess. Good luck on your journey!
