HELP!! Using EAD while Green card is being produced?

Hi guys, I NEED HELP

I just received an email saying my Green Card was being produced (YAYYYY!!!!)

BUT

I'm going on vacation in a week, and was planning to use my EAD/AP combo card to regain entry after my trip. My question is : Does this card lose its validity because my green card is being produced? Will i have any issue using my combo card to get back from my trip?

Changing the subject a bit.... this is about the 3rd person who filed with a K1 visa and got approved in NYC after receiving the NPIW letter. It gives me hope that we may get approved before the 6 months.

You can get a stamp in your passport at your local office.

Your EAD/AP is valid until the expiration date on it. The only time that is becomes invalid is if the pending AOS application is denied. You will be paroled into the US when you return so you will go to secondary inspection so allow and expect this. Otherwise this is a non-issue. Everybody stops using the EAD/AP card when they get their GC. You may actually receive the GC before you leave.
