Contacting London Embassy

Does anyone know the best way to contact the London Embassy? I filed my notification of readiness in July, the medical was August 4th. My CEAC status is ready for interview with the last update 27th August (1st September for my daughter). I'm getting very concerned as to why I still don't have our interview letters.

Any help is appreciated, in for another anxious weekend.

This is the only way really http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html

I suggest you tick the 5th box as your reason and give all those dates.

Does anyone have any timescale experience using the contact form? I sent something last Sunday. Considering nothing seems fast I suppose I shouldn't be concerned that I've not received contact.

I've used that link once before and got a reply in a couple of days. I wonder whether the embassy is currently short staffed or swamped with applications. We were really hoping to be back in the US the first week of November but now that is looking less likely. It's incredibly stressful waiting on information, with no idea how long things will take.

Checked my CEAC status today and it was updated again this morning. I'm hoping that means that the interview has been scheduled and I should get an interview letter in the next couple of days.

It can also mean they read your email and looked at your case.

I've sent two requests now and nothing so I'm guessing they have no interest in replying to my request for an interview date change!

Thanks

Mike

The reply I got today was from my first email on the 15th September. I am guessing they have a back log of inquiries, so don't give up hope just yet.

I suppose the worry is if I can't attend the date and don't attend what happens then! Nobody at NVC seems to know anything!
