Hi all,

Hopefully someone can shead some light on this.

I emailed the info unit at London to check if they had received my medica/DS-160/NoAR. They are in receipt of my medical, but claim to not have my DS-160 or NoAR.

I have the Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application confirmation receipt, dated 12 Aug.

Should I repeat the DS-160/NoAR process?

Thanks.

You can reply to the email and inform them of your DS-160 confirmation number and ask if they can retrieve it. Or you can do it all over and take the new conformation to the interview so they pull up the second submission. Do the Readiness again. Doesn't hurt a thing.

I got a reply back from the Embassy today, I think they tacitly admitted to 'finding' the documents they claimed not to have recieved.

However, I couldn't believe my eyes when earlier today at 2:30pm, I read in their reply email that my interview was at 8:30am Sept. 23rd, i.e. four and a half hours before they sent me the reply. Unless I invent a time machine I fail to see how I can attend an appointment that's already in the past. (They never sent any mail, or emails prior to this about an interview date, and I was checking ceac to see if there were any changes to my case status; of which there were none, until they checked to see if they had all my documentation as I mentioned earlier in this thread.)

I've notified them of their mistake. Who knows what will happen now, I lost hope of them doing anything right at the point.
