Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo you mean to say excluding the 53 days wait i have to wait another 45 days from the day my file reached the supervisor :/ I heard that it was only true if i had specifically asked for supervisor review of my case where as i didnt ask any such thing the NVC is moving with their own pace more over i called NVC today like usual some ignorant type of rep attended my call and gave me a 220 bolt shock by saying your package sent to NVC is missing your Birth Certificate and Marriage certificate i said what and told her that i have sent two different packages to NVC because we didnt trust our consultant we knew he probably miss some thing so by sending an extra one would compensate for that mistake and that what i was told by another rep a week ago that NVC is reviewing both packages more over yesterday the rep said the supervisor asked for our case file and now all of a sudden you are telling me my case file has missing documents there is some thing wrong with your system then she came up with another lame excuse and said both Marriage and My Birth Certificates are not properly translated I said my marriage certificate was translated a competent authority and is endorsed by the court and my birth certificate is issued by Govt. Of Pakistan which is in both english and urdu then i asked her to transfer my call to supervisor and she put me on long hold after a while she came back smiling and told me oh your case is fine and nothing is missing or incomplete i just talked with the supervisor and he or she said that wait for few more days you will get a case complete letter and some affidavit of support letter in email which u have to bring at the time of interview. Now i dont know whats going on she was telling me some thing different earliar before talking to some supervisor and told me some thing different after talking with supervisor i dont know what to believe now :s

Hi, the same basically happened to me... after sending to a supervisor they said my case was okay and complete, but it hasn't been exactly like that (that i-130 story). Here's what you should do:

1) Check the CEAC's website and see if you have 3 N/As

2) Call Monday and ask your case status - if they say it's complete, ask if they can send you a confirmation per e-mail acknowledging it.

Let us know how it went, good luck!

Hi,

You are not alone on this, my case is also on supervisor review since 19 August (after NVC received missing docs on 05 June and all forms were completed on 19 July).

I called them and they said the same that Birth certificate is missing but I insisted that not only we sent the certificate but also if its missing I still quality for CC so I will present original birth certificate during interview................................I also mentioned that we have not received any checklist saying birth certificate is missing.......

Waiting is not a problem as long as people attending our calls would be honest to us about our case progress. Whats more frustrating with NVC is that most of them just tells you different things no two reps will tell you same thing and most of them will insist you to just wait. Regarding supervisors I have talked to the few but each one of them said I am not the one handling your case nor I know who is actually handling it. Whereas NVC is a department and everything is suppose to be interlinked with every other thing in the department not telling us on purpose is a different thing but this is completely lame to say that they dont even know who is handling the cases.

In our case well we didnt get any checklists uptil now and i hope we dont get any as well inshallah. Regarding delaying in geting CC letters the lady did mention that most of the consulates are backlogged so they are holding up cases on NVC end till the backlog ends at the end of consulates so i think if most people are still on waiting perhaps thats the reason the NVC isnt issuing any CC letters but its just my opinion based on the lady statement.

Today i called NVC like i said i will call them to my surprise the lady rep told me that the packet sent by me doesnt has my Birth certificate and marriage certificate I told her but friday when i called the lady said every thing looks fine and there is nothing to worry and now you are telling me after 55 days that the package sent by me and my consultant both doesnt include my Birth certificate and marriage certificate what is this she transferred my call to some supervisor i forgot to ask her name she told the same story. NVC is department of lies and people there like to play with people sentiments all that 30 days review time is a bullshit and their reps dont know any thing they just tell us lies every rep tells a different story there. She was saying supervisor review was completed on 17 September but when i called on 18th the rep said its under review and funny thing is today the lady rep said the same thing to give it more time as its still under review and supervisor said no you have missing documents. What should I do now she told follow the instruction you will receive in the email sent back missing documents and allow 30 days to review which means not 30 another 55 days.

Same here.

Packets were sent in April but no checklist regarding my birth certificate until 3 Aug they told us over the phone that there's something wrong with my birth certificate.

Is the birth certificate in your case English or translated into English? It could be the reason even though NVC does say no translation is needed if the language used is the official language of the country when your interview will be scheduled, but people at NVC are just simply lazy and stupid and unreliable.

For my case, they said that I need to notarize my birth certificate which they should have told us months ago. We have wasted so many months for nothing :(

Supervisor review was another waste of time unless you could really reach a supervisor.

I agree with you my friend I was going through the same situation I submitted all my documents and DS-260 long ago I don't know when this will be solved and they say Its under supervisor review.

I don't need to translate my birth certificate as it was both on English and urdu. Regarding NVC well they are the most unreliable unprofessional nd bunch of liars every day since 30 days passed I am regularly calling them and every day I have to listen a different story now day before yesterday I called some rude rep picked my call and told me we have sent u a checklist I said I haven't received any and it's been 55 days he said ok ill send it again and I was talking he dropped my call then same day my wide called and she listed to a different story the guy told her that you don't need to respond to checklist just follow the instruction letter we will send u Ignore checklist and bring documents to interview mentioned in that letter she even told him that she is recording him for legal purposes even he said I am telling you as per the note left by the supervisors who reviewed your case. So now you can imagine why I said they give Contradictory statements.

There is no supervisor review after the CC has been done. The next stage after CC is when NVC sent your file to the relevant consulate for scheduling an interview. And after interview there is a process called Administrative processing which can be long or short depends on case to case basis.

Well, after a cc email when I called them to check for interview date and instead three weeks later they said it has been send to a supervisor for additional review. So apparently they do this even after a cc. That's why I am confused. Haven't been able to get a supervisor yet on the phone to figure this out. I am baffled.
