Hi all,

I am awaiting for my packet 3 but would like to get started with all the documents first. My question is in regards to obtaining a Police Certificate.

I have moved away from my country of birth (Indonesia) since I was 11 and has been a permanent resident in Singapore since. Do I still need a police certificate from Indonesia on top of Singapore?

Appreciate any help at all!

Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

So does this mean that I do not to get one from Indonesia? (I have not lived there for six months or more since age 13).

Why does other site says I will need one from country of birth?

the link is from ***removed***. com.

in the example listed "You are an indian passport holder and you reside outside of India" --> you have to get local embassy confirming that you have no criminal record and also from all other countries other than India where you have lived for over 1 yr after turning 16.

Don't know what that site is, but you should follow the Dept.of State's(site I provided) or your consulate's instructions. If you are really worried about it, then ask your consulate directly. They will tell you exactly what they require from you.
