I have been looking at the flowchart and reading some shortcuts (jamies shortcuts) to find out what I would need to do next to make sure the whole process goes as smooth and quick as possible.

few questions i have are..

1. Jamie's shortcut seems like its mostly for ppl who are doin i-130. It says AOS i-864 and we i-129f filers do i-134 so can we still use jamies shortcut by subsituting the i-864 with i-134?

2. What are the exact steps in detail of what will happen next. Yes i know packet 3 will be sent out. first. What can i do to speed up the process by already having most forms filled out? What payment bills need to be made etc?

the reason i want to get this done asap is because I am going out of the country for 5 weeks to see my fiance in india. I dont want the process to just freeze as i will not be here. I can fill out all the forms sign everything and have all the payment certified checks made and leave with friend who can mail them out for me.

Dec 6th - NOA1

Feb 27th - Touched

Feb 27th - NOA2

It depends which embassy you will be going to, but information for Delhi is here: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...a&cty=Delhi and Mumbai is here: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...&cty=Mumbai

You will definetly be requried to prepare the affidavit of support. What you need to include with it, will depend on each embassay. It could be 1-3 years of tax returns, statements from bank or employer, or more than one of the required proof.

You will have some fees, medical exam fees are ussualy standardized with vaccinations being extra. There will also be a visa fee paid on the day of the interview.
