Medical Forms with London Embassy

Hello,

My husband (a UK citizen) and I (a US citizen) were living/married in the states last November. Originally we were going to stay in the states then, so in December 2014 we begin the process to file a change of status for his J-1 visa, which included completing a medical exam in the states.

We decided to come back to the UK for a bit instead and now, applying to go back, we were recently approved for the DCF application. We're getting everything together, but we are a little unsure of the medical. We still have the sealed medical forms from last December in the states - would those be sufficient enough to submit now for the DCF filing? Or would you recommend that he completes a new medical in the UK? I thought I remember being told that the medical is good for up to a year, but I wanted to double check and to be sure we can use the same one for a different filing.

Your help is much appreciated!

Katie
