3 N/A doesn't mean case complete

Timeline

It will continue to say "AT NVC" until after you receive an interview date AND your case file is sent to the embassy. Did you can and find out if you have case complete? If you do then don't worry about it saying at nvc.

Thanks for reply. I didn't confirm it bcoz of Saturday Sunday holiday, 2maro I'll confirm my case status at NVC by calling them. Can u tell me how much time they take to schedule interview?

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:

great to hear someone has CC after a while,

when was your scan date? i.e the date they received you documents

 

Got LPR status through family in Feb 2017
travelled back to Nigeria in Aug 2017, got married
file i130 for wife and daughter in January 2018
Case transferred from CSC to NSC in July 2019
got RFE in Oct 2019.

next: waiting anxiously for the mail...

no. you have to mail your forms to nvc physically

The whole point of calling is to confirm if the three N/As DOES mean CC. It *usually* means CC. Not always. That's why we call. Always call to confirm. Especially since our only written confirmation our case was completed was the interview letter. lol

Today I checked the NVC website and the AOS fees changed from "Paid" to "N/A". I called the NVC to confirm and received the good news that our case was complete. Now my husband is just waiting on his interview. 😁
