This is normal. Administrative Processing is when they are in process of producing your Visa. My wife is international student, and whenever she renews her Visa. CEAC always states "AP" and will change to "Issued" within 24-48 hours after Visa is issued.

It's been 3 days and they still have not changed it to "issued".

Dear All, Today my status changed to issued, thank god! as I was started to get worried, now hopefully this is final step in process.

At my interview, I handed in my passport and was told I will be informed by text message when my passport is ready for collection, just waiting for my text message to collect my passport back from my local depot. I chose this option as live near local depot and save on courier service too.

I really appreciate all your comments, you've all been so supportive and I wish you the best of luck with all your applications!!

My fiancee had her interview on July 18th and they verbal aproval. They said because she was married before they needed to make sure all the paperwork was ok. We have not heard anything back since then and it says in administrative prossing. Is this normal and how long does it take or how long of a wait.
