If this was true, why wasn't the school evacuated? Why wasn't the bomb squad called in? There are proper procedures that needed to be followed in case of a bomb threat and they were discarded.

As for your second statement, I believe this is the case when it's certain people. Because with all the mass shootings that have occurred over the years, it seems that this principle isn't applied when folks decide to go to heavily populated areas with heavy weaponry and do their best to provoke an altercation from the police or security.

Told you. The Muslims don't "call a bomb squad". They just disappear you. That's why he's lucky that he is in the US.

As for my second statement - he got a box of cool new toys, an invitation to the white house, and a lot of support. I'm placing bets though that he won't be dismantling any of that stuff and making briefcase electronic devices out of them, hence comment on lesson learned.

i was saying that in america, we don't shoot first and ask later. ideally anyway. and because we don't shoot first and ask questions later, people want to come here to escape such a rigid, violent environment.

i'm not talking about any possible sudanese reaction being bigoted, i'm talking about the folks in irving texas. their reaction was bigoted and paranoid. but i doubt many lessons were learned by those involved in irving except maybe to drive home 'the liberal media is satan" and "obama has converted merica to muslim"

Well I did ask for stupid analogies didn't I. Look what popped up.

If only in your opinion.

Folks he showed his "briefcase clock" to have the opinion that matters here, not mine (or come to think of it, yours either)

It wasn't a question, really.

It would have taken a rational reaction from the school, in order to have the building evacuated; however, we all know that reason went out of the window, when the teacher decided to call the cops on a home made clock.

But we're talking about The Americans, not the Muslims. I know in different countries it's not handled the same way.

He got lucky IMO. With the discrimination that Muslims face here, it's nice to see something positive come out of a negatively handled situation.

i don't understand how the school wasn't evacuated, i don't know how many times we were evacuated for bomb threats when i was in school, multiple times per year. nothing but a simple phone call from a payphone and everyone got 40 minutes of standing around doing nothing outside..most times the calls were never traced back.

the teacher must have gone immediately from "this could be a bomb" to "no that's not a bomb, we're all immediately safe from being blown up" to "this kid wanted me to think it was a bomb, he must be punished for his trickery" pretty quick.

Because this was not about a threat. This was just a vent through which some let out some of their phobia steam.

That is so true!!!  And normally you shoot the engineers right after you're done hanging the marketing guys...

Marketing folks move on well before any performance can be measured

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

Sister did a fake bomb in Jr. High, this was just a payback time for the family.

Obama invites the future terrorist to White house without consulting Irving Police

Irving MacArthur was back in the 80's about 500 students all white and mostly a lot of kids from wealthy families, with handful of blacks and sprinkle of Mexicans.

Go there today, White flight has taken this school in ghetto school. I would venture to say there is less than 15% white kids

There is no phobia in Irving regarding Muslims, Illegals, it is what is the major population there....

Drive thru the city one day, It has turned into a barrio and dump, You wonder why the Dallas Cowboys moved the stadium out of Irving a few years ago.............
